Flash Back Friday: Baby Pictures!

The date on the back says September 1998. My parents found her in July when she was about 8 weeks old. So she's probably 4 months old in this picture. I wish I remembered when she was this small. Doesn't she looks so sweet and innocent? Pffft, don't they all when they're sleeping?

Sadly there are only three pictures of her as a kitten that I can find. In one she's only in the background and my brother is in it and in the other she's very hard to see. 

Thursday Update

Well, the weather is nicer and I'm feeling a heck of a lot better so you know what that means? MORE PICTURES AND ADVENTURES! Woo hoo! Woody's got no idea what's in store for him. Mostly more training, but he loves it. 

So I've had a few posts to make, but I've been saving them in case I don't get any others ready for their scheduled days. It's been tough not writing them just yet. I've also been going through all my pictures, so there might be a few old ones surfacing soon. 

And Cherry's birthday is coming up! We aren't exactly sure of when she was born, but I'm estimating the month as being June. So probably June 1st will become her birthday(also because I can't wait longer ;) ). Oh man, that means I've got to get her a present too... any ideas? I won't let her peek at the comments. Wow, she's going to be three. She's growing up too fast. 

Casie's birthday was on the 15th too. She would have been 15. I can never remember that darn day. It's been years since I've actually remembered her birthday. I could tell you the exact date and maybe even general time when she died, but I can never remember her birthday. May is just one of those months where the days all merge. 

We've also got two new followers. I've said it before and I'll say it again, any time we get comments or new followers I literally start dancing or freaking out. Cherry will look at me like I've grown a second head. But it makes me happy to see that people actually visit this blog. So thank you to all who visit. Every comment is appreciated, even if we don't reply.

~Mommy: In two years she's really filled out nicely. She was 7 months old when I brought her home and now she is almost 3 years old(birthday is in June). Times sure does fly...

Also a belated birthday to Casie. I'm sorry I always forget your birthday, but you are never forgotten. <3 RIP my little girl.

Flash Back Friday: A Comfy Pillow

Thursday Update...From the Cat

So it's been a while since I've written a post. I just figured I'd let you know what I've been up to. Mommy has been back and forth between here and her Grandma's house. She's also been busy with doctor appointments, so I've been left to entertain myself and when Mommy is here, I've been making it known that I missed her.

The other day it was so beautiful out, so Mommy opened the windows and pulled up a chair for me while she was busy cleaning.

I like to watch the bees buzzing around. I wish she'd let me out on the deck, but Mommy doesn't trust me to be out there alone. :(

After a few days of cleaning, she was ready to move back into her room. She had been sleeping in another room due to the hornets. The hornets are all gone now and I'm allowed back into our room again. So to get her bed ready, she had to put sheets on it again. I let her put the fitted sheet on, but I didn't like how the other sheet looked. It was lacking....me. So I crawled up under the sheet.

~Mommy: And after ruining my nice and neat sheet, she just laid down and stared at me.~

Mommy wasn't very happy. She said something about how I'm always causing trouble. Too bad I can see right through her. She really doesn't mind it. She thinks I'm too cute.

And yesterday I wasn't very happy with Mommy. She wouldn't let me lay on her notes(she was saying something along the lines of, 'Hey! I need those for this test! Go sit somewhere else!'), so this was my solution:

But then I fell asleep...

And she woke me up...

Evil glare...

...And evil stretch! 

And if anyone is curious about how Mommy is doing, she had an allergy test on Monday. She's allergic to oak and birch pollen and possibly milk. The great news is that she isn't allergic to me and allergies probably aren't causing her dizziness. The allergist thinks that it is her wisdom teeth causing jaw pain. So hopefully she'll get this all settled soon.

Thursday Update: Lack of Updates

Yeah sorry about the lack of updates. I've been busy and sick. I'm also not at home right now. I'm staying with my Grandma for a while. I'll be heading home Saturday and then going back. So no pets with me. All I can do is share pictures.

School has also become a main priority. I had state testing Monday and Tuesday and now I need to really get a move on with my classes. I've also been at the doctor's office a lot. Next week I have an allergy test and then have to go to the dentist to get some teeth fixed. So it'll be a while before there are any *real* updates on the pets. Plenty of pictures around, but they probably won't be new.

Sorry About Yesterday

Yeah, I haven't done much with Woody in the past week. Since Wednesday, I've been feeling crappy and Thursday night I was so dizzy. It took me half an hour to change into my pajamas. Friday I was feeling even worse. I ended up going to the doctor and they still don't know what's wrong. The only answer I got is that it's probably still my ears. -sigh- This sucks. The weather is GORGEOUS and I haven't been able to enjoy it because I can barely walk anywhere without freaking out. 

So yeah, Woody and I haven't done much since Tuesday. Even then we barely did anything. I'm hoping I'll be better soon so I can take him for nice long walks, but I can't guarantee when that will happen. I can still do stuff with Cherry since she pretty much entertains herself. Playing with Woody is a bit more taxing on me. And his jumping around makes me dizzy at times. 

For yesterday, I wanted to find the first picture I ever saw of Woody, but I don't think I have it anymore. It was a long long time ago. I'll tell you a funny story about it, though. When I first saw the picture I thought, 'Wow. That dog is so ugly.' It was an awful picture. The angle made him look fat and his face looked smushed in. We still went to see him, but I wasn't sure I'd like him. When we got to his foster's house and opened the door to see that little guy, I instantly fell in love. He was so skinny. He looked nothing like his picture. I still have no idea how they got a picture that made him look fat. He was the skinniest thing I'd ever seen. 


Anyway, just figured I'd explain the lack of posts for Woody. I feel terrible that I can't do anything with him, but there isn't much I can do. 

Flash Back Friday: Rollin'

Yes, she was huge. Partly due to the huge tumor in her abdomen. Towards the end of her life, if you looked at her hips while she was standing, you could see her belly would just hand down and her hip bones stuck out. I feel so awful for not realizing sooner...

Thursday Update: I Have Accomplished Nothing All Week

Seriously. I've done nothing this week. Bleh. I never got any email about going to the shelter and I wasn't really feeling good, so I didn't bother sending them an email. Hopefully next week I'll feel better. I'm a lot less dizzy, which is good. I might end up taking Woody for a nice long walk today. Haven't taken him in a while. I feel guilty about it, but I've barely wanted to leave the house.

Anyway I wanted to take some time to say that I appreciate all of the comments we're getting. Seriously, I love them. Every time we get a new comment, I dance around the room and go and tell Cherry. Every time we get a follower, I dance for even longer. Cherry probably thinks I'm crazy if she hadn't already figured that out a while ago. 

I want to reply to every comment, but sometimes I can't think of what to write. Don't think I didn't see your comment, I definitely did. I also have probably shown it to Cherry.
