Great News!

So I got my driver's license Thursday! Today I took Woody for a drive. I bought him an Easy Walk harness and went to test it at a local park. Yeah...it didn't work. Woody didn't give a damn if it squeezed his legs together. He just kept pulling. I wish I had brought his other harness, but I totally forgot. It would have been a lovely walk if I remembered his harness. You should have seen me walking him. It was probably hysterical.

And yesterday Woody helped me clean out the truck I now share with my brother. By help I mean got scared when I started vacuuming and just got in the way. He would not give up the passenger seat. 

I finally convinced him to hang out in the back seat.

Now for the sake of mentioning the little demon, I went into the kitchen to bake a pie and saw this out of the corner of my eye:

I have no idea where she dragged that thing from. She probably had it stashed away somewhere.

I Love the Colder Weather

Ok, I always tell people I hate winter, but that's because of the snow. Fall is by far my favorite season minus school starting. Since getting Cherry, the cold weather has become a 1000 times better. Why?

She cuddles.

Cherry was so cuddly when I first got her. Within a few hours of bringing her home she was already curled up in my lap sleeping. It was adorable. I used to fall asleep with her cradled in my arm. She also used to wake me up trying to crawl under my blankets with me.

She isn't that snuggly anymore, but she still cuddles. In the summer it's pretty rare, but now that the weather is getting colder she has become a cuddle monster. I love the comfort of falling asleep to her kneading my side or having her sleeping on my feet or back. It makes me feel safe and warm.

I now dub this cold weather as 'kitty snuggle weather'.

Cat Got Your...Tail?

Sorry, I forgot to turn my phone before recording.

Anyway, this is literally what I see Cherry doing every day. When she's sitting on my lap, I have to hold her butt so she can grab her tail. It is so funny to watch.

My Cat is a Druggie

I think a little bit of background information is necessary for this story. I have one of those plastic drawer things with three drawers. In the first two I keep my make up, nail polish, lotion, hair dryer, straightener, other various girl stuff, etc. In the bottom drawer I keep my fish tank stuff, cat treats, cat nip, nail clippers for the cat, Cherry's toothbrush, etc. With these drawers, if you leave one open you can access the drawer under it if you go behind the drawers. I always forget about this.

So Saturday was my cousin's wedding(Woo!) and I had opened the middle drawer because I was using my hair dryer and straightener. I left the drawer open. I was gone for hours on Saturday and when I came home late at night I noticed there were two bags of catnip on the floor. I rolled my eyes because Cherry does this all the time. I find the bags all over. Usually she just carries them around and then leaves them wherever.

Not this time. This time she ripped one of the bags open. There was catnip all over my rug, clothes, etc. It was way too late for me to clean it up, so I went to bed. Yesterday morning when I woke up I noticed it was everywhere. Cherry even had the audacity to roll around in it while I was trying to vacuum it up. That little devil.

I was hoping to upload more than these few, but I was gone all day and now I've got homework. So this will just be a quick picture post.
